We handle landscape design and installation, hardscapes, irrigation, fertilization, commercial maintenance, snow removal, and holiday lighting for residential and commercial clients across Northern Illinois.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician to take ownership of our irrigation service line. You'll diagnose and repair systems, handle spring startups and fall winterizations, install new systems, and work directly with customers. This is a role for someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, and represent the company well at a customer's home or job site.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues across residential and commercial properties
- Perform spring start-ups and fall winterizations
- Troubleshoot controllers, valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, and pumps
- Install new irrigation systems and system upgrades
- Conduct system audits and water-efficiency adjustments
- Identify drainage issues and recommend solutions
- Prepare estimates for repairs, upgrades, and installations
- Communicate professionally with customers and crew
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
What You Need
- 3+ years of hands-on irrigation experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Working knowledge of controllers, valves, pumps, wiring, and piping
- Experience with both residential and commercial systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable using a smartphone for service documentation
Nice to Have
- Irrigation certification
- Backflow certification
- Experience preparing estimates and proposals
- Drainage installation and repair experience
- Landscape lighting experience
- Crew leadership experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
